A Proverbs 31 Woman is a woman that prays

You may have noticed that I took a break from the blogging.  Please do not take this to mean that I've stopped my quest to become like the Proverbs 31 woman.

This blog is about being the best woman that I can be.  Perhaps, along the way, I can inspire you to be a better version of yourself.

Let me touch on the fitness part first. I have maintained my weight loss that was accomplished during the Advocare challenge. I've mentioned previously but the only Advocare product that I now  use is spark!  Spark has given me the opportunity to completely quit drinking soda pop!  I, also, still absolutely love my Refit Revolution workout videos.

That being said, I fear I may have plateaued a little on my fitness.  The answer and motivation to this: this blog.  I can keep myself more accountable and, hopefully, inspire others along the way!

In doing Refit Revolution, there are certain workout songs that I simply cannot do.  I have a condition in my foot that basically causes flat foot, which I have to sometimes wear a brace.  Last night at church, I prayed: "God, I don't want to always have to wear a brace or always have a limp if I don't."  I believe I heard God say, "Finally. Julie, this is the first time you've actually prayed and asked for it!"  (Which is a little bit funny because I almost always pray very specific prayers.). So, back to Refit.  Tonight I completed 10 Refit songs (with strength training before) completely WITHOUT my brace!!!  Bonus: one of the songs was "Eye on it"... A song I've been wanting to Refit to, but thought it was too hard.

I've got my eye on it!  Keeping my eyes on my Lord and my mind on His Word.  Lesson learned: a Proverbs 31 woman is a woman who prays!
